Majestic indie-folk darlings Tinpan Orange release their new haunting and catchy single 'Going Home' on June 1, 2018.

With over 3.5 million streams on Spotify in the last 18 months, since the release of critically acclaimed fifth LP, 'Love is a Dog', Tinpan Orange is well on their way to
legendary status in Australia’s indie-folk scene with their distinctive dreamy and haunting folk sounds.

New single 'Going Home' is a moody folk-pop song that sees angelic and striking lead singer Emily Lubitz effortlessly sing about the anxieties of unfulfilled potential, all the while hinting at the beauty waiting in the wings. The band’s catchy new song chugs through steadily with a driving rhythm guitar and majestic sweeping strings, it deals with youthful malaise and has hints of laid-back psychedelica.

“It’s about the power we so easily give to one another when we are young and fall hard” says songwriter and lead guitarist Jesse Lubitz. “We give so much so quickly
and when those relationships crash and burn, it’s easy to feel bitter. Working through the bitterness and trying to get to the other side, that’s the really hard part.”
